HONOLULU HI. — The Aloha Rod & Custom Super Show team has
reported that although they are saddened by the exit of the
Superferry and must now begin to refund Maui participants, the show will go on as scheduled.
"We hope that the HSF will one day be able to again set sail in the State of Hawaii
and at that time be able to accommodate a large number of Maui
participants." Said the Aloha Rod and Custom Super show in a recent
press release.
Also mentioned in the press release
was info about their up and running Aloha Rod & Custom Blog.
(aloharodandcustom.blogspot.com)
"We started this blog to help better connect with our participants
and supporters on the web." The open letter said. "Updates will
occur frequently so please check it from time to time, as future
information regarding the Aloha Rod & Custom Super Show will be
posted there."
Additional announcements were worth
noting in their public news statement regarding the Aloha Rod &
Custom Super Show. “A $10 discount will be given to all those with a
car club affiliation (ex. Corvette Club of Hawaii, Childhood Dreams
Car Club, VW Club of Hawaii, etc. This will then lower entry fees
down to $35.00.”

- We would also like to remind those that we will have
designated areas for our Car Corral and Auto Parts Swap Meet. The
Car Corral is an area in which those who wish to put their vehicles
up for sale can do so. Our Auto Parts Swap Meet is an area in which
enthusiasts can not only just rid themselves of old parts lying
around the house, but find new ones as well. Spaces are still
available so act now!
Entry Forms are also available at the
following locations:
808 Speed Shop/Titan Motorsports (Aiea)
DJ Motorsports (Waipahu)
Ted's Machine Shop (Kalihi)
We expect the Aloha Rod & Custom Super
Show to be one of the best events of 2009. We hope that you will be
a part of it.
Regards,
The Aloha Rod & Custom Super Show Team
