March 20th from 6pm to 10pm at Windward Mall in Kaneohe. Entertainment and door prizes are provided. This is a
family event - please no burning-out or revving engines. Lets be

driver's to modified Mustangs of all years - Cobras, GT40s, Panteras
and other exotic Fords - from Falcons, Comets, Lincolns, vintage
Model T's and Model A classics, trucks, SUVs and more. And, of
course, the infamous original Rumble Contest for the best sounding
Ford vehicle. A benefit for the American Cancer Society Relay for

Here's an event tip from our good friend, Tad
Matsuno of
Pacific Rod and Street,
Hawaii's authorized Mooneyes dealer. "Just got a brochure for a
small hotrod get-together that started last month. About 30 cars
showed up to just hang out in the stadium McDonalds parking area for
a couple of hours. Nice shade till 10:30 a.m."

WHEELS IN PARADISE CAR SHOW
Location: Ford Island Hawaii
When: Memorial Day weekend
May 29th, 30th, & 31st, 2010
FORD ISLAND HI. — The Rotary Club of
Kapolei in partnership with the Pacific Aviation Museum, Navy Region
Hawaii and Hawaii Independent Cruise Nights will be hosting one of
the largest car shows Hawaii has seen in a long time. Wheels in
Paradise is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend on Ford Island,
starting at noon Saturday, May 29, 2010.
All proceeds will go to needy families
in Hawaii and vocational & education assistance.
Official entry fees and more details
will be posted right here when they become available.
