Google
hit's Honolulu Streets with Street View
If you haven't already heard, Google
announced yesterday that they have added imagery of Hawaii, (Oahu
and Maui) to their popular Street View feature on Google Maps...

Its been a disturbing 13 years since
I moved away from Hawaii, but Ill admit nine of them have been
soothing. Why? Because it didnt occur to me until after I read last
months Hawaii Motorbeat anniversary issue that this coming November
will make nine years Honolulu Streets magazine has been on the
internet.

Kahiko Kula' (Old School) VW Club
The other day I noticed a very
interesting website linking to Honolulu Streets Magazine. Turns out,
there's a group of guys from Hawaii who live in the Washington State
area that formed a Volkswagen club called Kahiko Kula - translated
it means Old School in Hawaiian...

HSM Joins web-forces with Hawaii Independent
Cruise Nights
It took awhile but I managed to
convince Arnold Dowling, head of Hawaii Independent Cruise Nights,
that he needed someone on the inside. Well in this case, someone on

What Makes Hawaii Special - To Me
Several years ago I wrote an article
about what made Hawaii special to me. It was the first thing that I
ever wrote that actually got published. While my dad was reading the
article in the newspaper, it was also the first time I ever saw his
eyes well up. In these rough economic times of doom and gloom, I
thought it would be appropriate to remember what still makes Hawaii
so very special.
