Kaneohe
Hawaii –
Other
than experiencing an Earthquake, there could be many reasons why you’d
feel the ground shake just below your feet.
In
this case, if you were standing a block away, Ronald Jose's `66 SS
Nova, appropriately named, "No Rat Hear," could very well
be mistaken for some kind of below ground seismic activity! Also,
from a good distance away, at first you'd hear a distinct rumble
that only gets louder when Jose's Nova approaches.
When
we caught up with Ronald Jose at a Kaneohe Gas station purely by
accident last year, the sound of the motor caught our attention very
quickly minutes before we could see it.
Make
no mistake; there’s good reason why Jose named his Nova " No
Rat Hear", too. Combined with a ground-shaking rumble of a big
block 396 motor, this thing runs a small block 350 cid. all the way.
And to give his already cool looking SS a more aggressive stance, a
Fatman Straight Front Axle was added. (Nice Touch!)
Below
are just a few specs:
